Who We Are
PJL Consulting is a boutique technology consulting firm located in Washington D.C. that helps small and medium-sized businesses through advisement and implementation services. We stress a lean approach to business, and leverage our expertise and experience to help our clients get the most out of their technical and intellectual capital.
PJL Consulting is philosophically different from most consulting firms in that we are selective about how we spend our time and which projects we are willing to take on. For example, if we don't genuinely believe a project will create value, we will explain why and move on. PJL is in business to help clients avoid wasteful expenditures — not to become one.
Founder and Lead Consultant
PJL Consulting was founded by Peter Linnehan in 2020. A former technology consultant and current engineer, Peter makes his expertise available to companies facing a technology dilemma or one-off project they can't handle themselves. Peter gets immense satisfaction from solving problems (the more complicated the better) and leaving a situation better than he found it.
In 2011, Peter earned a B.S.E. degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan Engineering School and a minor in Economics from the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts.
In 2014, Peter graduated from the University of Maryland Clark School of Engineering with a Master of Science in Systems Engineering with a focus on Operations Research.
